Back to School

Yep. It's September - back to school. YAY! Hope all the students and parents in the family are ready to make it a great school year - I am SO glad to be back in the classroom!
Entirely different note: here are a few pics taken on Labor Day. It was a gorgeous day, weather-wise (after a bunch of rain) and I took my camera for a walk.

Cool pics. The sunlight on the crick could ONLY be Pennypack - I can practically feel the mud seeping into my sneakers (me and Pennypack - we used to get kinda close...)
Spent much of today testing out my new Sound Isolation Enclosure (Whisper Booth), but when I came out, the weather was beautiful here, as well.
I, too, am very happy to be back in school (CTK library). Yesterday was spent meeting and greeting new kindergarteners. Can't wait to officially open on Monday.
I got to spend some time running rampant in a bookstore that is closing. (BOO) Came back with three boxes of books (free) and the invitation to come back again. Talk about a kid in a candy shop.
To all our teachers and students have a great school year. (Shannon is starting in a new school, Carl Sandburg Middle School), joining her big sister Katie who is now in 8th grade.)
Kerry is in 4th grade at Miller. All are talented kids and active in various areas.
All of the Ryan's are excited to be back at school but no one is more excited than their mom. It is the most wonderful time of the year. House to myself!!!
Heh - yesterday, Jane and I hit Powells - the local BIG, non-chain bookstore - and bought books, including a book on the Psychology of Music I've been looking for - and the first installment of "Lone Wolf and Cub", a classic Manga - that's Japanese comic book. Samurai Action! Yea!
